This full-day tour take you to explore the culture and history near Ayeyarwaddy River by visiting the famous Yoke Sone Kyaung Monastery in Salay and the heritage museum of the famous writer Salay U Pone Nya during the time of the Myanmar Kings. Itinerary

Stop 1

After Breakfast, our driver will pick-up from hotel and drive to Salay (approx. 2 Hours drives from Bagan).

Stop 2

Arrival Salay and visit “Yoke-Sone-Kyaung”, museum of Myanmar famous writer U Pone Nya and lacquer ware “Man” pagoda built in AD 1300.

Stop 3

After Lunch, drive to Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and home of Myanmar’s most powerful “Nats” or Spirit Gods. To visit Poppa Mountain, we need to go up 777 steps of stairs.

2 hours •

Stop 4

Depart Mt.Popa return to Bagan and proceed to your hotel.
