Itinerary

Stop 1

Drive to Salay, which had grown as an expansion of the city of Bagan in the late 12th Century. There is a large number of beautiful monasteries. You will visit the Yoke Sone Kyaung Monastery,  one of the oldest monasteries and famous for its wood carving.

Stop 2

Afterwards, head to Mount Popa. Upon arrival, you will be surprised about a large number of monkeys jumping and crossing your walkway, while climbing up the 777 steps to the top of the mountain. Take a walk around the monastery and enjoy the beauty of the panorama surrounding the National park of Mount Popa. After sightseeing, you will head back to Bagan. On the way, you visit a workshop that makes products made out of materials from palm trees.
