Itinerary
Stop 1
Visit a 100 year temple located in the center of the city full of carvings and beautiful murals.
Stop 2
Ride the bamboo train through the countryside. Here you can see the rice fields. The train is $5 per person extra.
Stop 3
View the over 100 year old Buddhist temple that the Khmer Rouge used as a prison. Here you can see the skulls and bones of the deceased.
Stop 4
Visit a local fish market and learn how the locals make fish sauce and fish paste.
Stop 5
Visit a local rice paper and spring roll restaurant. Learn how the locals make rice paper and spring rolls from locally sourced ingredients. Here you can try freshly made spring rolls.
Stop 6
Visit a local banana chip factory. Learn how the locals make freshly made banana chips. Here you can try freshly made banana chips.
Stop 7
Visit a local rice wine factory. Learn how the locals make rice wine infused with cobra snake and fruit. Here you can try the rice wine.
Stop 8
Visit an ancient Khmer temple. View the large Buddha statue. This a great place for pictures.
Stop 9
Lunch break at a location of your choice. Recommendations can be provided if needed.
Stop 10
Head to the top of the mountain to view the Buddhist temple and killing cave. Here you can see amazing views of the countryside and rice fields. Walk into the killing cave and see the skulls and bones of the deceased.
Stop 11
At sunset watch millions of bats fly out of the cave towards their feeding grounds located in the rice fields. There are beverage and snack stands located at the base of the cave.
Stop 12
Ride home from the bat cave. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or a destination of your choice in the city. Drinking water will be provided throughout the tour.
