Stop 1
Step into the nostalgic atmosphere of Myoban Yunosato, a historic hot spring village known for its iconic Yunohana-goya—traditional straw-roofed huts that have been used for over 300 years to produce natural hot spring mineral powder. Instead of the public baths, enjoy a 60-minute stay in your own private open-air hot spring cabin (Kazokuyu). Relax in the milky-white, sulfur-rich waters, renowned for their skin-beautifying properties and soothing effects, while surrounded by the tranquil mountain scenery.
Stop 2
Discover the untamed beauty of Myoban Jigoku, a lesser-known geothermal area offering a more natural and authentic experience than Beppu’s famous hot spring “Hells.” Stroll along scenic paths surrounded by billowing steam vents, sulfurous mineral deposits, and the unmistakable scent of the earth’s geothermal activity.
