Itinerary
Stop 1
Drive to St. John's Church, the oldest church in Dalhousie, showcasing Victorian architecture. Spend some time exploring the church and its surroundings.
Stop 2
Panchpula is a beautiful spot known for its picturesque views and waterfalls. It is located around 3 km from Dalhousie and is a great place to start your day. You can enjoy the fresh morning air and the sound of flowing water.
Stop 3
Head to Satdhara Falls, which is nearby Panchpula. The falls are known for their medicinal properties due to the presence of mica. Spend some time here enjoying the natural beauty and taking photographs.
Stop 4
Drive to Khajjiar, often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India," located around 21 km from Dalhousie. The drive takes about an hour, but the scenic beauty along the way makes it worthwhile. Spend the afternoon enjoying the vast green meadows, and the serene Khajjiar Lake. The Khajji Nag Temple is also worth visiting.
Stop 5
On your way back to Dalhousie, you can take a drive through the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. While a detailed exploration might require trekking, a car drive through the sanctuary can give you a glimpse of the rich flora and fauna.
