Longji Rice Terraces have a long history and are known for their stunning agricultural landscapes and local traditions. This place is home to many ethnic minorities, including the Zhuang, Yao and Dong communities, who have built villages in the area. You can walk about 30 minutes to the top of the mountain or choose to ride a palanquin (optional). The scenery along the way is stunning. At a local restaurant, you can taste typical dishes such as bamboo rice, Chinese bacon, and bamboo shoots.

Huangluo Yao Ethnic Minority Village is famous for its long-haired residents. This village is the only Yao village in the Longji Scenic Area, where women traditionally keep their hair long. With over 300 women boasting hair lengths of up to 1.7 meters, this village holds the Guinness World Record for the "Longest Hair".
