Itinerary
Stop 1
Following a private pickup from your Tunxi hotel, we drive to the Yungu Cable Car for an ascent to the North Sea area. The tour begins with a trek to the "Black Tiger Pine," where your guide explains how these ancient trees have adapted to grow directly in the granite environment. We then proceed to Shixin Peak and the "Monkey Gazing at the Sea" to observe the natural erosion of the granite pillars. After a break for a self-funded lunch, the route continues to the West Sea area to see the "Flying-over Rock" and discuss the weathering patterns of the peak. The tour culminates at Bright Top (1,860m) for a 360-degree vantage point of the entire Huangshan range. The day concludes with a cable car descent and a private transfer back to Tunxi, where your guide can provide recommendations for authentic local dining.
