Itinerary
Stop 1
These rare fireflies emit bright, rhythmic lights, creating a mesmerizing display in the dark. They are active only for about 30 minutes after sunset and can only be seen from April to June.
Stop 2
Ishigaki Island is Japan’s first designated Dark Sky Reserve, making it a top destination for stargazing. After the firefly viewing, we will move to an open area for a stargazing session. An officially certified Ishigaki City guide will provide explanations using a laser pointer.
