Kochi Castle remains the construction from early 17th century, during the Edo Period. It has withstood numerous crisis including fire, natural disasters, wars. You can enjoy views of history and the cityscape from the castle.

This market has lots of shops, and there are tables where you can sit and eat what you buy.
Stop 3
This shopping street has various kind of shops and is one of the busiest in Kochi. A lot of people walk here, both to shop or to travel.
Stop 4
Enjoy Kochi's specialty Imokenpi and sweet potato products at the cafe. It is a traditional snack from Kochi using only sweet potatoes, oil, and sugar, and has been around for a long time. It is suit for souvenir.

Makino is a man who engaged and contributed Japanese Plant Taxonomy, and this garden was established for honor his achieves. This garden is harmonized in the nature in Kochi, and you can enjoy the seasonal plants. This botanical garden is not only to tourists but also for research, conservation, and education.
