Overview

Malacca once a prosperous port of call between the “East and West”, where silk, gold, tea, spice, opium, tobacco and countless items changed hands. The mainland Chinese led by Admiral Cheng Ho exchanged ties with the Malacca Sultanate in 1409. In year 1511 the powerful Portuguese invaded and took control of Malacca until 1641 followed by the Dutch. Today, this once battered town shows its remnants left behind by each rule during its glorious days. A UNESCO World Heritage & Historical Malacca Tour takes you back to the early days. Walk through the narrow streets, look out for the colorful figurine atop the roofs of the houses. Tour Highlights! * The Old Fortress – Porta De Santiago * Street Arts at Malacca River Bank * Portuguese Settlement * Enjoy a Trishaw Ride to explore Malacca ~ Unesco World Heritage Site * Visit Cheng Ho Cultural Museum
