My goal is to make the day feel relaxed and personalâmore like exploring Japan with a local friend than joining a typical sightseeing tour. Thereâs no need to rush. I can adjust the day to your pace, whether you prefer less walking, are traveling with children, or want to spend more time at certain places. Iâll also share local insights and, whenever possible, take you to local restaurants away from the busiest tourist areas. If youâve already visited certain places, prefer quieter spots, or have other requests, Iâll suggest the best route for you!

Stop 1

Stop 3
This shrine is included in all options. Start the day at Kyotoâs famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, where thousands of red torii gates create one of the most photogenic spots in Japan. Walk through the tunnels of gates while your local guide shares fun stories and hidden facts. After soaking up the peaceful vibe, weâll head out to Nara by private car.
Stop 4

Feed them, take cute selfies, and enjoy some relaxed time under the trees. This part of the tour is free time, so feel free to explore, take photos, or simply enjoy the peaceful vibe. You can join the guide for lunch or choose a local restaurant on your own. Itâs a great moment to slow down and enjoy Nara at your own pace.
Stop 5

Visit Todai-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japanâs most iconic landmarks. Step inside the worldâs largest wooden building and come face to face with Japanâs Great Buddha, a giant bronze statue standing over 15 meters tall. Your guide will explain the templeâs rich history, how it was built in the 8th century, and its spiritual meaning in Japanese Buddhism. Weâll also show you some fun hidden detailsâlike the famous âhealing pillarââand help you find the best angles for impressive photos.
