Mysore palace- an architectural marvel, and home to the royal family of wadiyars. Learn how Mysore is connected to various international events that shape the world and explore the mixed architecture of the 2nd most visited monument in India (after Taj Mahal).
Stop 5
Keshava temple- A 12th century temple that looks like a piece of Angkor wat right here in India. Recently awarded UNESCO world heritage, we start the tour from this non active temple, unravelling stories from the past whilst deciding stories from Indian mythology and culture.
Stop 6
Visit one of the most iconic churches in Mysore and explore the old part of the town which was the business centre in erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. From scrap market to fabric shops, hole in the wall bakeries to perfume shops, Lip smacking street food to intricate wood inlay artists- this part of the city takes you back in time.
