Stop 1

We will explain clearly China's history and culture to you, including the construction and historical background of the Forbidden City, as well as the stories of the 24 emperors who lived there during the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are stories about the life of Puyi, the last emperor of China. The story of Reginald Fleming Johnston, a Scot who lived in the Forbidden City, and the story of how the Forbidden City was opened to the public and transformed into the Palace Museum after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. As the Palace Museum celebrates its centenary from its establishment in 1925 to 2025, we hope to have the opportunity to show you the charm of the Palace Museum in Beijing.

Stop 2

Before the end of the tour, your guide will give you the information to visit JingShan Park by yourself which is located behind the Forbidden city. From there, you can climb to the top of the hill to see the panoramic views of the entire Forbidden City and the old urban area of Beijing.

Stop 3

If your booked itinerary includes the Tiananmen Square option, we will provide you with the reservation service for entry to Tiananmen Square. You may choose to visit Tiananmen Square either before or after the scheduled itinerary, and we will reserve the entry ticket based on your preferred time. Our staff will contact you in advance to confirm your specific planned entry time to Tiananmen Square, and complete the reservation accordingly to ensure a smooth and convenient trip for you.
