Itinerary

Stop 1

Your professional privater guide will pick you up at your Xiamen hotel, and then take a 1.5-hour scenic drive to Quanzhou, one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in China. Upon arrival, you will be led to Kaiyuan Temple, one of China's largest and most important Buddhist temple, and the nearby East & West Pagoda, said to be the best preserved stone pagodas in China.

Before heading to Qingjing Mosque, stop nearby at West and East Street(Dongxijie), the Old Quarter’s most popular street food haunts to sample snacks such as Zongzi(Traditional Chinese rice-pudding), Siguotang(Four fruit soup), or Chunjuan(Spring roll). Finish off your gastronomic, go ahead to Qingjing Mosque. Qingjing Mosque is the oldest Mosque in China and rated as one of the top ten Muslim holy sites of the world.

Continue sightseeing to Guandi Temple, dedicated to two Chinese generals, Guan Yu and Yue Fe, this temple is a hive of activity all day and well into the evening. You will see locals praying, offering incense and burning special paper money for their ancestors to spend in the afterlife in a large pagoda decorated with some skillfully crafted carvings.

Then visit Quanzhou Maritime Museum which is an ideal place for tourists to have a panorama view of trading history of Quanzhou and the development of Chinese shipbuilding. After the tour, transfer back to Xiamen.
