Itinerary
Stop 1
Taqah City (Beach, Old Town, Castle and Plateau) A beautiful coastal towns with a wonderful beach and green coconut plantations. The beach is home for many migratory birds and you may also see dolphins from the beach. The Taqah Castle is a fully restored 19th century mudbrick fort which was a residence of the governor in the past.
Stop 2
Samharam Archeological Site (UNESCO) A UNESCO World Heritage Site that is one of the most important ancient cities of Khor Rori that was part of the Frankincense Trade Route and flourished trading frankincense with India, China and other Arab states.
Stop 3
Lunch Break Enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the beautiful places surrounded by nature.
Stop 4
Darbat Valley and Waterfalls A lush oasis with green trees and many animals. During the Khareef season, many waterfalls spring to life or intensify and start cascading down the mountains.
Stop 5
Mirbat City (Port – Old Town) A coastal city of centuries old history and purebred horses. Those who climb to the top of the magnificent castle are rewarded with a picture perfect view of the Old Town and a beautiful port with many sail ships.
