Itinerary
Stop 1
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the rugged mountains of southeast Chongqing. We stop first at the Chibi Observation Deck to admire the breathtaking Wujiang River Gallery, where emerald-green waters slice through towering limestone cliffs, creating a misty landscape rivaling the Three Gorges. During holidays when it gets crowded, we’ll adjust the itinerary and go to another Wujiang viewing platform instead.
Stop 2
Upon arrival in Wulong, the journey focuses on the park's crown jewel: The Three Natural Bridges. You will descend hundreds of meters into the valley via a glass elevator and trek beneath three massive stone arches naturally carved by water over millions of years. Deep within the gorge lies the Tianfu Post Station, an ancient courtyard house preserved from the Tang Dynasty, famously featured in Zhang Yimou’s blockbuster.
Stop 3
If you choose Route A, ascend to Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, the "Switzerland of the East." Trade rocky gorges for rolling alpine meadows and grazing horses at 1,900 meters above sea level. Take a scenic mini-train ride through the grasslands and breathe in the fresh mountain air—perfect for families and nature lovers.
Stop 4
If you choose Route B, dive deeper into the earth at the Longshuixia Gap. Navigate suspended cliffside pathways along this narrow, 2km-long crack in the earth’s crust. Pass under thundering waterfalls and feel the mist in this dramatic, subterranean world that feels like a journey to the center of the earth.
