Itinerary
Stop 1
Begin the day with a visit to Wat Sisaket, Vientiane’s oldest surviving temple from the 1828 Siamese war. It houses more than 8,000 Buddha statues, including the famous Emerald Buddha.
Stop 2
Visit Laos' national symbol, Pha That Luang, the largest stupa in the country. It is believed to contain a relic of the Buddha’s chest bone and is a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists.
Stop 3
Head to the Patuxay, also known as the Arch de Triumph of Vientiane. This monument honors those who lost their lives during past wars and now serves as a landmark for the city.
