Buddha Park or Wat Xiengkhouang is a religious-themed sculpture park located 25 km southeast of Vientiane, Laos, on the banks of the Mekong River. The park contains over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. It was founded in 1958 under the leadership of Bounlia Sulilat.

Patusai is a war memorial in the center of Vientiane. Patusai is dedicated to the soldiers who fought for independence from France. Although the Patusai Arch is analogous to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, its design is typically Lao, decorated with a mass of mythological figures such as kinnars.

Sisaket is a Buddhist temple (wat) in Vientiane, Laos. The first syllable, si, is derived from the Sanskrit "Sri" and indicates the reverential status of the structure. The temple is famous for its statues of Buddhas made of clay and silver, as well as wood and bronze, of which there are about 7000.

Pha That Luang is a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the center of the city of Vientiane, Laos. Since its initial establishment, suggested being in the 3rd century AD, the stupa has undergone several reconstructions as recently as the 1930s due to foreign invasions of the area.

Phakeo or Phakeu is a Buddhist temple in Vientiane, Laos. The temple is located on Setthathathilath Street to the southeast across the street from Sisaket Temple. The temple is currently home to a museum and a small store.

The Presidential Palace is the official residence of the President of Laos, who by agreement also serves as Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. It is located on the banks of the Mekong River in the capital Vientiane.

COPE (Cooperative Orthotic & Prosthetic Enterprise) is the main source of artificial limbs, walking aids and wheelchairs in Laos. The COPE visitor center is a small museum but a fantastic one which is very suitable for children.
