Itinerary

Stop 1

A must and first visit are the Kashgar Old Town in ancient styles. There is an open ceremony with the culture show around 10:30 am every morning to welcome people from all over the world. You can join with them to learn the Uyghur dance. Afterward, An excursion of Old Town will begin. You can see the dazzling array of flowerpot bazaar, visit the variety of traditional musical instruments; Old Town is also the best choice to enjoy the local cuisine.

Stop 2

Today’s highlight is Sunday Market, which combined with two sections. Central Asia Bazaar sells clothes, nuts and many things you can imagine. Another is the famous Livestock market, which is 15kms away from Kashgar. People will take their animals to the market by donkey cars, trunks or other vehicles; buyers also will arrive early to see the cattle or sheep they want to trade. It is quite interesting to witness their typical methods of bargin.

Stop 3

Then continue to the largest Idigar Mosque, an ancient cultural relic building with a history of nearly 600 years. The locals will practise their activities in this distinctive Islamic architecture. In front of the mosque is a bustling square, you can take a panoramic view of the mosque or enjoy leisure time here. Coming out from the mosque, you will enjoy a walking tour at the Handicraft Street, where hundreds of handicraft workshops and stalls are gathered, you can visit a wide variety of crafts. The tour will end after the hotel drop-off.
